Hikkaduwa is a small beach town in Galle province in southern Sri Lanka.Accommodation is made up of 5 star luxury hotels , budget hotels and cheap guesthouses.Famous for it’s surfing , scuba diving and nightlife with tourst’s from all over the world.It is also the home of a turtle hatchery and ayurvedic treatment center.There are also internet cafe’s , pharmacies , bar’s , restaurant’s , money exchange’s , handicraft shop’s , jewellery shop’s and supermarket’s available for the many tourist’s and backpacker’s who visit Hikkaduwa every year.The nearest airport is along the coast at Bentota some 40km away.
